The primary objective of the event is offering participants a scientific program that covers many important areas of cytology (two days) and gynaecological pathology (one day). The structure of the lectures is designed to begin from the building blocks of cytology, extending to more complex insights into this specialty. The tutorial combines classroom lectures with high quality microscopic screen projection and discussion of challenging cases.

Topics cover subjects such as:
A. Gynecological pathology (Cervical and vaginal pathology, Uterine pathology, Ovarian pathology etc.)
B. Cytology (cervix, thyroid, salivary glands, serous effusions, quality control, molecular techniques etc.)

This tutorial is primary aimed at practicing pathologists, cytologists and residents, however its multidisciplinary nature makes relevant for other specialists as well (surgeons, oncologists, general practitioners, general laboratory medicine, biologists) and last but not least medical students.
