The primary objective of the event is to offer to the participants a comprehensive review of problematic areas of gynaecological pathology and cytology. This year, for the first time, the aim of the conference is to provide information on the basics in gynaecological pathology diagnosis, to learn on how to approach the diagnosis and to recognize the most important diagnostic features of the common lesions in gynaecological pathology and cytology as well as how to deal with differential diagnosis and last but not least to provide guidelines on how to report these lesions so that the clinician will understand and choose the best management for the patient.

The conference combines classroom lectures with high quality microscopic screen projection and discussion of challenging cases. The participants will be able to attend lectures and to examine on microscope a variety of gynaecologic tumors (benign and malignant) and tumor-like conditions. The lectures will be focused on the main morphologic diagnostic criteria, ancillary stains, molecular-genetic tools, with a particular attention to be paid to the differential diagnosis as well as most recent international guidelines providing treatment and follow-up information.

Topics cover subjects such as:
A. Gynecological pathology (Uterine pathology, cervical pathology, ovarian pathology, fallopian tube pathology, vulvar pathology, gestational pathology etc.)
B. Cytology (cervix)

This conference is primary aimed at practicing pathologists, cytologists and residents, however its multidisciplinary nature makes relevant for other specialists as well (surgeons, oncologists, general practitioners, general laboratory medicine, biologists) and last but not least medical students.

The registration includes:
